Following a competitive tender process Henley appointed the FES Group to provide Acoustic Consultancy on the conversion of a Grade II-listed former police station in Cambridge which is to be
turned into a boutique hotel.

The Results
We have provided a number of noise surveys to analyse and comply with external façade requirements under BS 8233:2014, and have undertaken acoustic consultancy throughout the project so far to ensure satisfactory acoustic performance in terms of airborne and impact sound insulation through Insul acoustic software analysis, HVAC requirements and reverberation performance through analysis of proposed internal finishes and room geometry to comply with all relevant acoustic legislation and best practice.
