We were delighted to be part of the full design consulting team, working alongside Hill Group, and the appointed architects, for the redevelopment of a brownfield site at Earlham Grove, London. The development brings 78 affordable new homes to Bow, built in three blocks. The FES Group was instructed to ensure Part L compliance.

Why use The FES Group?
Following our initial SAP calculations, Hill Group required thermal dynamic modelling. We were able to help, making a full IES thermal model quickly using the existing Part L information. Simulations were compared to CIBSE TM52 and CIBSE TM59 and our experience meant we could advise on practical changes whilst ensuring Part L compliance.

The Results
Part L compliance was achieved. Construction began in November 2019, and is set for completion by May 2021, when we’re hoping to assist Hill Group with EPC certification.
